Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using BSV Radar. By accessing or using the site, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing bsvradar.com or any bsvradar.com sub-domain, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, all applicable laws and regulations, and you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree, you are prohibited from using or accessing the site. The materials on this site are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily view the materials (information or software) on BSV Radar's website for personal, non-commercial use only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

1. modify or copy the materials except as necessary to interact with the directory;
2. use the materials for any commercial purpose without written permission;
3. attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software on the site;
4. remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials; or
5. transfer the materials to another person or mirror the materials on another server.

This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by BSV Radar at any time.

3. User Accounts

BSV Radar lets you sign in via Sigma (Bitcoin-backed BAP identity), Google, or GitHub. You are responsible for safeguarding whichever credentials you use and for any activity that occurs under your account. If you sign in with a Bitcoin key, you alone are responsible for backing up the underlying seed or wallet — we cannot recover it for you.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. One individual may not operate multiple accounts to circumvent limits, inflate reputation, or evade moderation.

4. User-Submitted Content

BSV Radar hosts content submitted by its community, including app listings, reviews, classifieds, comments, chat messages, and profile data. By submitting content, you grant BSV Radar a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute that content on the site and in related promotional contexts.

You agree not to submit content that:

1. infringes any intellectual property or other right of any person or entity;
2. is false, misleading, defamatory, harassing, or unlawful;
3. contains malware, phishing links, or anything that compromises the site or its users;
4. impersonates another person, project, or organisation;
5. promotes violence, targeted harassment, or illegal activity;
6. constitutes spam, paid placement disguised as editorial, or off-topic promotion.

BSV Radar reserves the right to moderate, edit, hide, or remove any submitted content at its sole discretion, and to suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate these rules.

5. App Listings and Ownership Claims

Anyone may submit an app listing. Only the verified owner of an app may edit its listing. You can verify ownership by signing in as a verified developer (Twitter/X handle verification) and completing the domain-verification flow on your app's edit page (TXT record on the app's domain). Submissions you make on behalf of projects you do not own are shown for reference only and cannot be edited from your dashboard.

If you believe a listing impersonates your project or contains inaccurate information, contact us at support@bsvradar.com or use the in-app report functionality.

6. Reviews and Reputation

Reviews must reflect your honest experience with an app. Writing reviews in exchange for compensation without disclosure, using multiple accounts to brigade ratings, or submitting reviews without having used the app are grounds for removal and account suspension. BSV Radar awards reputation (XP) for participation, but reputation has no monetary value and may be adjusted, capped, or reset at our discretion.

7. Paid Classifieds and BSV Payments

Posting your first active classified is free. Additional concurrent classifieds require a one-time on-chain payment in BSV to the platform address shown at posting time. Payments are verified via public blockchain data. The value of BSV may fluctuate; BSV Radar is not responsible for any changes in the value of BSV before, during, or after a transaction. Classified fees are non-refundable once the posting has gone live, except where required by law.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

1. access the site through automated means other than documented APIs or feeds;
2. attempt to overwhelm, rate-limit, or denial-of-service the site or its infrastructure;
3. use proxies, VPNs, or other tooling to evade bans or manipulate reputation systems;
4. manipulate upvotes, follows, reviews, XP, or referral attributions through artificial engagement, coordinated brigading, or automated clicks;
5. scrape user or classified data at scale without permission;
6. probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system without authorisation.

9. Adult Content and Other Restrictions

Listings and content featuring pornography, targeted harassment, incitement of violence, hate speech, or otherwise illegal material are prohibited. BSV Radar reserves the right to remove such content and terminate associated accounts without notice.

10. Prohibited Jurisdictions

You may not access or use BSV Radar if you are located, incorporated, or otherwise established in, or a citizen or resident of: (i) Cuba, Crimea, the so-called Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, Iran, Syria, North Korea, Sudan, or Russia; (ii) any state, country, or other jurisdiction that is embargoed by the United States of America; (iii) a jurisdiction where it would be illegal for you to access or use BSV Radar; or (iv) where the availability of the site is prohibited or contrary to local law or regulation (together, the "Restricted Jurisdictions").

11. Third-Party Links and Services

App listings link out to third-party websites, downloads, and services. BSV Radar has not reviewed every linked destination and is not responsible for their contents, safety, or practices. Interacting with third-party apps listed on BSV Radar — including downloading software, signing transactions, or providing information — is at your own risk. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement.

12. Disclaimer

The materials on BSV Radar are provided on an "as is" basis. BSV Radar makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and disclaims all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property. BSV Radar does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any listing, review, or linked resource.

13. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall BSV Radar or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data, profit, funds, or business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the site, even if BSV Radar has been advised of the possibility of such damage. You are responsible for your own decisions when using third-party apps listed on the site, including any Bitcoin transactions you sign.

14. Accuracy of Materials

Materials appearing on BSV Radar could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. BSV Radar does not warrant that any materials on the site are accurate, complete, or current, and may update materials at any time without notice.

15. Account Termination

BSV Radar reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the site will immediately cease. Content you submitted may remain visible on the site where necessary to preserve community context (reviews, discussions, listings you did not own). You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time as described in the Privacy Policy.

16. Modifications

BSV Radar may revise these Terms of Service at any time by posting an updated version at this URL. By continuing to use the site after changes are posted you agree to be bound by the then-current version. Material changes will be noted with an updated effective date.

17. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that state.
